Tattoos   2010 was the year of the tattoo chez moi and I now have three!       I got this first one on 09/04/2010. It represents my struggle with depression - my healing heart in God's hands. It is situated in the middle of my upper back and it took 3 hours of pure agony to get it! It's a good job it was my first one or I would never have got one so big.     I got the second one on 11/05/2010. I actually booked it on the way out of the first one - must have been mad! Not surprisingly, it represents my faith. I put it on my right wrist so that I can always see it.     This rather lovely owl represents my family and Grandma in particular. She has a huge collection of owls numbering at least 200! We all love owls so it seemed the obvious choice in many ways. Although this tattoo was not as painful as the back piece, it was far more swollen and sore afterwards, probably because of all the work with the colour. More than 12 different colours were used in the tattoo!   All my tattoos were done by Pinky at Cosmic Tattoo in Colchester. She is a very clever lady!
